In the years I’ve known Cami, I always knew her to be a dedicated, hard-working and ambitious person. She is currently studying at Boise State university and working as a machine learning intern at HP Labs. Over the years, she has become involved with public speaking, a team lead for an undergraduate research NASA program, and a mentor for organisations such as Black Girls Code.

Happy World Poetry Day! I’m sharing a poem I wrote way back in 2012.
The past month has been a bit stressful and difficult, and it feels like some time that I’ve actually written a post about what’s been occupying my mind, but this should give a little update.
I got a manicure and my first pedicure while I was visiting Perth in late January/early February. I wanted to write about my experience at the salon I went to, so here it is!
I feature a new top in this outfit. And my much-loved pair of jeans. No humans were actually physically harmed in the makings of this post, but one of these photos is edited, thanks to a photobomber.
I’m hosting Timeless Thoughts this month, and I recall a memory from a company I used to work at.
February went by so quickly, but it was pretty fun. The last week has been stressful, but I’ve had the support of my friends and I’m trying to actively block out time in my calendar for tasks.
I chat to one of my girlfriends, Monica, about career paths; the way women are treated; making the world a more accessible place; and just roughing it out in life.
