Fashion Friday: Cerulean

It was a super rainy day when we took these photos! You can see we are indoors.

I’m wearing a new shirt. Well, it’s not really new since I have worn it a handful of times but you probably haven’t seen it before. :) It’s from Cue and there is some detailing on the sleeves and down from the collar. I thought it was a bit odd at first, but along with the amazing colour, I think they are nice touches. The shirt stands out a crap-ton! I love the button detail on the sleeves.

I bought the skirt from Chicabooti when I was looking for some simple black skirts. I like the pattern on this skirt since it’s not just your regular stripy tube skirt. Two panels on the skirt have a striped pattern that goes the other way. The skirt was quite cheap, I think it was about $8 or $10. The material is really thick so I would say the quality is pretty good.

I am wearing the same boots I wore in Wanderlust. I thought that since I wore them with a white tube skirt last time, I would wear them with this black tube skirt. They go well with short skirts!

I got the earrings from Indonesia. They only came to about $7, and they remind me of Marc Jacobs’ Daisy perfume bottle. You can find a similar pair of flower earrings without the ball backing at Floralpunk, in solid black and solid white. I chose to wear them mainly because of the black backing ball and the fact that it matched the skirt and boots.

I chose to keep the arm jewellery pretty simple and mostly hidden under my sleeves, the shirt is a statement in itself!

Georgie!! OMG it’s been so long visiting your site! Love that you’re some sort of a fashion blogger now :) Amazing how we’ve all turned out after all these years right? Love that your accessories match that top perfectly. <3

Haha no way, I wouldn’t really call myself a fashion blogger at all… I don’t want to identify with that stereotype. I only post about an outfit once every two weeks. If you look at the rest of my recent posts I don’t think my writing has changed.

Haha but I do still like your fashion sense :) Don’t want to stereotype you at all. You’re still uniquely Georgie!

I really love that top! :D It has so many unique design elements. Once again the photography is awesome. :D

Another pretty Fashion Friday post, Georgie!
I really loved the shade of blue of your top and those earrings are super cute. I’m currently into earrings with backing balls and they are super difficult to find at cheap rates!

Thanks Bhairavee! :) Ah, that is a shame about the earrings. :( I am not sure of any where you can find them around your area, but if you do find even just one pair, you can just pair the balls with other normal earrings! Also, it might just be a case of the trend not making it near you yet. I found the earrings in Indonesia but they are less common in Australia since they only started selling them here quite recently.

The entirety of this outfit is slaying me. The boots and skirt with the strip of bare thigh is an aesthetic I am so entirely fond of. You’re so lovely, Georgie! And were I less… heavy, I would wear something much like this when I wanted to feel prettyyy.

!!! You are too nice. <3 It’s a look that I have grown to like as well, though I toss up between showing a bit of thigh and a lot of thigh... I’ve always been fond of the miniskirt though recently I have become less fond of it and preferring longer lengths.

I like your entire outfit. I think people should wear blue more often.
