Dreaming in song

4th January 2011

Notes occupy the empty gaps in my cerebral cortex,
Flowing ever so softly, behind the retinas of my eyes
They produce silent echoes that lather beyond my eardrums.
My vision blurs with light brown and white,
My eyes feel tense, sore and bruised,
My fingers tingle like a jellyfish sting.
Expectations of a blurred vision are thrown down by music in my ears,
shadows ahead of my eyes,
shadows of notes and sound.

I’m in a vision I can feel,
with the touch of sound;
a vision I can see more than my eyes can fathom.

I have hope,
A fuel for more than a dream.
