Category: A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life is part of my ‘A Day in the Life’ monthly linkup, which was previously run by Manda in 2014. In this linkup, bloggers document their daily life once a month.

I was really excited when Manda started this linkup because I used to do a photography ‘A Day in the Life’ on my photoblog, which was organised by Tracey of I was happy that she let me take over the linkup from January 2015.

There are 24 hours in a day, so this month I will be writing a list of 24 things to sum up yesterday and today.

I have decided that I do want to pass this linkup on. I’ve had a couple of people express interest in taking over the linkup, but unfortunately it will come to an end if I don’t find anyone who is willing to take it over either now or starting next year. So if you are interested, please let me know!

I’m a bit out of sync with myself, so today’s A Day in the Life is a day late. Oops.

I feel like I’m running out of inspiration for this linkup and don’t know what questions to add. I don’t have any creative ideas right now and I am considering passing the linkup on to someone else because it is starting to feel like a chore, much the same way Amanda was feeling before she passed the linkup responsibilities to me.

If you are interested in taking the linkup over or can give me some ideas, let me know. 🙂

I apologise for pushing this A Day in the Life post back, but I just got caught up trying to settle back in after our trip.

This weekend we went out for dinner with Nick’s family to celebrate our engagement. Today Nick decided to see the doctor as he hasn’t been feeling great since the end of our trip, just a few tests and we’ll find out what’s up.

Not an eventful day, but sometimes we have days in our lives that aren’t interesting to write about. Remember, A Day in the Life is not a pity party – we all have dull days and one of the best things to do after an ‘unsuccessful’ day is to reflect on it. So this month I have decided to ask a few questions related to mindfulness and clearing your mind. Feel free to join in the linkup by adding your link at the bottom of the post.

This may be posted later than usual because I am in Paris, where the timezone is different from what it is at home. Hope you can join the linkup this month!

Today I am:

In Paris.

Today I am also:

Wondering why my tan oxford shoes have gotten so water damaged despite being leather – they have dark marks on them. :/ I want to buy some brogues in Italy because I am sure they are cheap. I have seen so many people with brogues in Paris so far and I want some!
