In the years I’ve known Cami, I always knew her to be a dedicated, hard-working and ambitious person. She is currently studying at Boise State university and working as a machine learning intern at HP Labs. Over the years, she has become involved with public speaking, a team lead for an undergraduate research NASA program, and a mentor for organisations such as Black Girls Code.

Last year, for International Women’s Day, I published a blog post with the title “Women don’t think they’re better than anyone. They just want to be respected”. This year I write about a quality that everyone should have and that should never be underestimated: passion.

February went by so quickly, but it was pretty fun. The last week has been stressful, but I’ve had the support of my friends and I’m trying to actively block out time in my calendar for tasks.
