I’m probably going to change my mind about this soon, but right now, I’m annoyed at goals. Goals are annoying me. Making goals can be really overrated. I don’t know how many times I’ve made goals and just ended up feeling disappointed. Every time I make a goal, I try to think of something reasonable. Like not spending money on anything other than transport for a week. But sometimes, when it rocks around, I can’t […]
Archives for Month: July 2012
It’s 10:52pm, I slept at midnight last night, and it was awfully hard dragging myself out of bed this morning when I kept hitting “snooze” on my alarm. I think I am still jetlagged from my trip to Indonesia. I feel really tired even though Indonesia is only three hours behind… My mum hasn’t been feeling too good lately; I think her typhoid-like condition is getting more serious. She’s been needing to visit the doctor […]
I’m back home – I miss Indonesia a little. Last time it was mostly the people I missed, I got a bit teary on the way back home on the plane. This time I felt like I missed everything including the experience and the food (minus the ones that probably caused me to feel ill) and of course the people and the lifestyle… it was different, it wasn’t the best, it wasn’t home, but it […]

There are various kinds of bolsters, but just the quick and dirty: a guling is an oversized, usually cylindrical-shaped pillow, that is often hugged at night.
It is pronounced gew-ling – basically, not “gulling”. Apparently there are various kinds of bolsters but […]
It’s been a few days since I last posted and things have been both busy and dull. After three days of going out to the markets and shops, yesterday we just stayed at home – home being my cousin Ricky’s house. I actually slept most of the day. I have no idea why I was feeling so lethargic yesterday – probably because I got a bit dehydrated. I did make sure I got some water […]
Well, hello. I don’t quite know how to begin this blog post, but I am in Indonesia at the moment and even though the time on my laptop says it’s 2:44am, that’s back-home time, ie. Sydney time, and right now it’s actually three hours behind Sydney time in Jakarta, Indonesia, making it 11:44pm the night before – so it’s still Saturday here.
Of course, I’m confused and mildly jet-lagged. 😆
I’m here with my […]
