Archives for Month: September 2010

Wow, it has been an eventful past two days. 😕 I have been busy. Getting out there and having a life, if you must know. I was talking to James today about the impatience of some people – worse than mine, I have to say. If you can’t wait more than one day to receive a reply to an email, that’s pretty selfish. Someone obviously couldn’t wait that long, and decided to pester me with […]

I went to the shops with my mum and I was able to find a replacement for those boots that I mentioned in my last post. There were two other pairs of the same boots in the same size so I got the ones that looked the best and quadruple-checked that they weren’t damaged! 😄 I’m really quite relieved.

It’s hit past midnight here, and it’s the 27th of September – happy birthday Sebby! ♥️ […]

I’ll run through the highlights of the day first. I went to a nice little town (an hour from home) where Sebby showed me around the shops. I like a good adventure. I was on the lookout for clothes, but I get indecisive and unsure when it comes to clothes. I didn’t find anything I really completely liked. But I found a vinyl record of ELO’s Discovery, for only $2 at a charity store. The […]

MSN is being really silly right now and keeps on signing me out. Sigh. Not to mention I was printing something double-sided and printed on the same side. Fail, Georgina, fail. 🙁

Most of my relatives – except one family who live here in Australia – live overseas in Indonesia. I personally don’t talk to them much, but my mum phones my aunts and uncles every once in a while, especially one of her sisters […]

I rarely have a rant about work, but now is the time. In a nutshell: I have to mark children’s worksheets. While they wait for their work to be marked, they should read a book or do a puzzle.

What really irks me is when they stand around my desk waiting for me to finish. It makes me feel uncomfortable, and just makes me want to mark their work slower or just stop until […]

Today was quite a boring day. I spent a fair bit off time off the laptop, and I didn’t find many things to do online. Yeah, there’s quite a bit of cleaning I have to do on my websites, but I’m really going to take my time. I have a two week break from university now, and I think I’m going to make some lifestyle changes during this break.

I want to sleep earlier, so […]

Last night I barely got sleep. I slept really late, doing an assignment and doing something twice as terrible: procrastinating. I totally should not have started that assignment so late. This morning, I got to university early to finish it off. Sebby kindly helped me cut out some crap for my scrapbook and printed off some things for me. I was still half an hour late to class, but at least I didn’t get slaughtered […]

And… a quick update on the internet situation: turns out our plan was automatically upgraded and we didn’t need to confirm anything – the email that was sent out was actually a confirmation email letting us know that our package had been upgraded. Needless to say, my mum is going to slaughter Brandon when she finds out – and no, she hasn’t yet. 😰

Well. In class today, our tutor (who tends to waffle […]

I’m so annoyed right now, I’m reaching boiling point. Sigh. I’m sick of the arguments that happen at home over something as trivial as the internet.

We’re stuck on a limit. We have a limit as to how much we can download before we get capped. That is, we reach our limit, which is 25GB, and our download speed slows down dramatically. It happens here – I know it’s different from other countries.

The past is full of stuff I want to forget. I’ve already forgotten some of it. Do you ever have a moment when you are suddenly reminded of something that happened to you, or an incident where you happened to be – and you realise, “Hey, I forgot that happened”?

I’m sure it’s happened to me a few times. Not just in reality, but in something as weird as my dreams.

Most of […]
